Essential

Our awareness is heightened every day, as it should be, of the occupations, staff, jobs, and activities that are essential in this time of crisis. My heart goes out, and my hat comes off to each essential one of you!!! You are truly on the front line of the battlefield. I thank you so much and honor you for your service, whatever that service is at this moment.

Essential: n. a necessary thing; adj. necessary, extremely important. I totally ”get” that and respect it wholeheartedly. However, I would like to address another aspect of the word “essential.” I want to speak to you from a purely spiritual definition, adj. relating to or affecting the human spirit or soul as opposed to material or physical things.

“Developing relational consciousness builds bridges of understanding among different people, traditions, ideas, and faiths and empowers individuals to live an integrated life ensouled with meaning,” writes Alejandra Warden.”

A new sense of living and belonging is born by perceiving the essential oneness that exists among all things. An understanding of “ONENESS”.  All life is part of the WHOLE! We must come together as one essential consciousness!

I challenge us as human beings to unite as one fundamental entity, focusing on our “mission” at hand. I charge you with the responsibility of protecting your own well-being and the safety of others. If staying safe means staying home, then please STAY HOME! Be “present” now! We must all do our part in behaving in compliance with CDC Regulations. It takes all of us—as ONE—to bridge this gap! All life is essential! All life is precious!
